Jayne is board certified as an Acute care nurse practitioner. She is a caring and compassionate nurse practitioner who works closely with Dr. Faran Bashir. She is focused on assisting patients understand their specific heart disease and educating them on life style changes and medications. She has special interests in atrial fibrillation and heart failure. She is also the clinical research coordinator for the practice.
She practiced as a Registered nurse for 26 years in a variety of areas, including intensive care, home care, pre- and post- operative care and nursing management. She obtained her diploma in nursing at the Los Angeles County Medical Center School of Nursing in 1986, graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in nursing from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1998 and a Masters of Science in nursing from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan in 2012, graduating with honors.
Jayne is originally from Southern California, spent 20 years in Southwest Michigan and moved to Phoenix in 2012 to be closer to family and enjoy the sunshine and warmer climate. Her time away from work is focused on spending time with her family and her dog. She loves to hike and camp and enjoys exploring Arizona.
