There is never any waiting; staff and doctors are helpful and personable. Katie Minor, in particular, is easy to talk with and listens carefully to my concerns. She has a positive, reassuring attitude that helps relieve my mind from unwarranted fears while encouraging me to stay on the path that promotes a healthy heart.

Dr. Akkad is a ‘Super’ Doc…..
One of the things that put him in that category………
His staff behind the counter, along with the gentleman that does the ultrasounds, and radiology based chores…..
And let me not for a minute forget Ms. Katie Minor, whom I believe accentuates the level of care that can be found at this practice……She truly does have Dr. Akkad’s patients Healthcare front and center!
I suggest that you stop your search for a Cardiologist now!

The doctor and his assistant ask the right questions and answered my questions very well. And we're very pleasant. The nurse was also very eligible and asked me the right questions, reception. People were very nice and polite. Overall looking forward to a good experience there

Dr. Katie is wonderful and made me feel so much better after a couple of years of uncertainty and a poor experience with a previous cardiologist. She was an excellent listener with great empathy and made me feel heard and cared for. I’m hopeful that my heart concerns are minor and perhaps nothing to worry about. I think we have a great plan in place for next steps and I haven’t felt this optimistic in a long time. Thanks again, Katie!

I've been going back to Dr. akat and Katie Myer for 11 years. They saved my life. I had a heart attack. They put a stent in it, they are the best. Doctors, when I go to the office, They are always kind ,courteous,.and attentive to my needs and they give me a high five. If I'm doing really well, I thank God for them and recommend them to anyone that has heart issues. Amen
